YouTube TV and Fox Dispute Threatens to Cut Channels Before Football Season
TL;DR
YouTube TV and Fox are in a dispute over contract renewal, risking the removal of Fox channels including Fox News, Fox Sports, and the Big Ten Network, just as the NFL season begins. The disagreement centers on payment terms, with Fox also launching its own streaming service, Fox One, which could influence negotiations. If no deal is reached, viewers may lose access to key sports and news content, but YouTube TV offers Fox One as an alternative and will credit members if Fox content is unavailable for an extended period.
