"Kansas City Prepares for NFL Draft with Airport and Traffic Updates"
TL;DR
Kansas City International Airport is increasing enforcement to keep the pickup line moving during the NFL Draft. Police officers and traffic control are making sure people don’t park in the pickup line, and pickups are only supposed to happen when passengers are ready to go. The most problematic time for the pickup line is late in the evening. Airport operators suggest using the cell phone lot or parking at the terminal garage. About 18,000 arriving passengers are expected, and many will take commercial transportation services.
