Ford Unveils Track-Only Mustang Dark Horse R and IMSA Racing Series

Ford Performance has unveiled the Mustang Dark Horse R, a turn-key race car that will compete in the newly confirmed Mustang Challenge single-make series starting in 2024. The series, sanctioned by IMSA, will feature a 10-12-race calendar and will be managed by the Ford Performance Racing School. The Dark Horse R, powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, is designed for track use only and shares components with the road-going version. Pricing starts at $145,000 USD.
