The author shares their experience of refinishing the yellowed and hazy headlights of their 996-generation 911. They opted for a more intensive approach using sandpaper and a two-part automotive-grade clearcoat. After cleaning, sanding, and applying the clearcoat, the headlights looked practically new. The author plans to further improve the project by upgrading the projectors in the headlights. Overall, the process was easier and faster than expected, resulting in a significant improvement in the appearance of the car.
