GameStop Revamps Rewards Program with Higher Prices.

GameStop is overhauling its rewards program, raising the price by $10. The new program will offer 5% off pre-owned games, collectibles, warranties, clearance items, and GameStop brand gear. However, some benefits of the current loyalty program are being stripped away, such as the expiration of points within 12 months if they aren't used and the removal of complimentary subscriptions to the print version of Game Informer. The monthly $5 coupon will remain, but the price increase and automatic expiration of points have upset some customers and employees.
