Sigma has announced the 85mm f/1.2 DG Art, its fastest portrait lens to date, touted as the smallest and lightest AF 85mm in its class (about 950g, 120mm) with a 17-element design and dual linear motors for swift autofocus, plus strong axial chromatic aberration control; it will ship September 30 for Sony E and L-Mount at $1,599 / £1,299 / AU$2,225, offering a more affordable alternative to Canon/Nikon equivalents.
