Fort Myers School's Head of Security Arrested on Monday.

Wyatt Henderson, the director of security for the Canterbury School, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Henderson, a former detective with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested 20 years ago for pistol-whipping a kid. Internal affairs documents reveal that Henderson tried to cover up the incident and asked people within the department to lie for him. It is unclear how he got a job at the school, but the school issued a statement to parents citing confusion over state and federal guidelines as a possible reason for the arrest. Henderson was released from custody after posting bond.
