Specialized's S-Works Mondo tire replaces endurance and all-weather tires.

Specialized has launched the S-Works Mondo, a new road bike tyre that the brand claims is the "benchmark endurance all-road tyre". The tyre is designed for riders who want to achieve "race-like speed" without compromising on puncture protection or tread life. It uses two compound mixes, T2 and T5, for speed and durability, respectively. The S-Works Mondo is said to have 11% less rolling resistance than the previous class-leading endurance tyre and 12% better puncture resistance than Specialized's previous best performer. It is available in three sizes and costs £55.
