The Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3 will have cross-save compatibility not only with PC but also with the PlayStation 5 version of the game, according to Larian Studios' director of publishing, Michael Douse. This comes as a surprise, as Microsoft's policy requires feature parity between the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and Larian had difficulty implementing split-screen on the latter. However, an exception was made due to the game's success on PC. Baldur's Gate 3 has gained popularity for its tactical RPG combat, memorable story, and exploration rewards, and it has been described as the new high-water mark for CRPGs.
