Blizzard Cancels Overwatch 2's PvE Hero Mode
TL;DR
Overwatch 2 has scrapped their promised PvE Hero Missions mode due to lack of progress and no defined end date. Instead, they will release co-op story missions gradually integrated into ongoing seasons. Some cut content will be repurposed for future PvE events. The first taste of the new story missions will be available in Season 6 launching around August. The roadmap teases a new support hero and a Roadhog rework.
