Blizzard says there will be no additional Diablo 4 expansions before Diablo 5 and will instead push new story content through seasons. Diablo 5 is planned for spring 2029, with Season of Hell's Legacy kicking off Sept 15 and bringing back Deckard Cain to face the Prime Evils; the Switch 2 port arrives the same day.
