Capcom Removes Denuvo DRM from Resident Evil Village

Capcom has removed the controversial anti-piracy tech Denuvo from Resident Evil Village on Steam, almost two years after the game's launch. Players had blamed the inclusion of Denuvo for causing performance issues, with cracked versions of the game reportedly having better performance on PC. The move comes after the recent release of Resident Evil Village's VR mode and the successful launch of Resident Evil 4 remake.
