"CD Projekt's 'Phantom Liberty' Expansion Boosts Cyberpunk 2077 Sales to 4.3 Million"

Cyberpunk 2077's expansion, Phantom Liberty, has sold 4.3 million copies since its launch, with three million sales within its first week. The expansion has continued to perform well for developer CD Projekt Red, and every fifth person who owns the base game has also purchased the expansion. The breakdown of platform sales in October 2023 showed that 68% of copies were sold on PC, 20% on PlayStation 5, and 13% on Xbox Series X and S. The development and marketing costs for the expansion were approximately 275 million Polish Zloty and 95 million Polish Zloty, respectively. The upcoming release of the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is expected to further boost sales.
