Darkest Dungeon gets The Fire's Edge DLC to mark 10th anniversary

Darkest Dungeon is returning to the original game with The Fire's Edge, the first DLC in years to celebrate the title's 10th anniversary. The expansion adds two Darkest Dungeon 2 heroes—the Duelist and the Runaway—introduces a burn combat mechanic, reworks trinkets, and adds three Hamlet districts (Academie Duello, Craftworks, Archaeological Base Camp). It launches on August 18, 2026, and Red Hook Studios has teased another DLC for Darkest Dungeon 2 planned for early 2027.
