TL;DR

Destiny 2's servers are overwhelmed as players rush to experience the launch of The Final Shape, with over 250,000 concurrent players on Steam alone. Despite past rocky launches, Bungie had bolstered efforts for this release, which has seen a significant turnaround in pre-orders, exceeding a million. However, many players are still struggling to log in due to high demand.
