Diablo 4 Beta Causing RTX 3080 Ti GPU Issues, Investigation Underway

Some players of the invite-only beta for Diablo 4 are reporting that their high-end desktop GPUs from both AMD and Nvidia are dying while playing the game, with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti being the most common card affected. Afflicted cards cause the PC to crash, with some giving a slight warning of haywire cooling fans just before. The number of affected users seems to be relatively small at the moment, but Blizzard, Nvidia, and the various partner manufacturers should be taking note and trying to get to the bottom of the issue.
