Hidetaka Miyazaki, chief developer at FromSoftware, hinted at the possibility of more DLC or a sequel for Elden Ring in an exclusive interview with IGN, following the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. While there are no current plans for a second DLC or a sequel, Miyazaki emphasized that they don't want to rule out the possibility for the future, especially considering the game's critical acclaim and commercial success, with over 20 million copies sold in its first year.
