Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo launches on Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S with carry-over progress

Eurogamer reports a free Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with progression carry-over to the full game when it launches on June 3 for Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S; the demo is 45GB on Switch 2 and 91GB on Xbox, includes the first two chapters and early game sections, plus new progression options, and bonus items ('kupo charm' and 'survival set') if you bring demo save data.
