TL;DR

The Game Awards 2023 is set to feature several fighting game announcements, with Guilty Gear Strive being the only confirmed game so far. Other likely announcements include Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Virtua Fighter, and The King of Fighters 15. Mortal Kombat 1 recently released a trailer, making it less likely to have a major announcement. The platform fighter MultiVersus could make a comeback, and there may also be a surprise announcement of a new game.
