Gears of War: E-Day Remains Xbox-Exclusive Despite PS5 Rumors
TL;DR
Before the 2026 Summer Xbox Games Showcase, rumors swirled that Gears of War: E-Day could also release on PS5. Xbox announced the game would be an Xbox Series X/S and PC exclusive on October 6, 2026, despite reports from outlets like The Verge and Bloomberg about a last‑minute PS5 version. The Coalition said they never publicly discussed a PS5 release, and while some promo art and listings sparked speculation, official messaging remains that E‑Day is Xbox‑exclusive at launch.
