TL;DR

A rumor suggests a Kratos-free God of War PS5 prequel where Faye (Kratos’ late partner) teams up with Tyr, featuring a gelatinous cube companion and Merlin the talking sword, and spanning mythologies from Mayan to Chinese and Japanese (with Arthurian hints). No official confirmation yet; an April State of Play reveal is possible, while Santa Monica is reportedly remaking the God of War trilogy.
