Konami Expands with New Studio and Increased Salaries for Employees.

Konami has opened a new studio in Osaka, equipped with motion capture equipment and sound studios, to help achieve "sustainable growth in the next 50 years" and bring back popular game franchises like Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, and Castlevania. The company is also constructing a "next-generation R&D center" in Tokyo, set to be completed in 2025. Konami has already revealed major efforts to bring back the Silent Hill series, and a Metal Gear Solid revival is planned for the coming years, with a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater rumored for 2024.
