TL;DR

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, an upcoming third-person adventure game developed by Daedalic, will be released on May 25 for PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms. Set between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, the game will follow the journey of Gollum as he pursues "The Precious" and encounters allies and enemies. The game offers new LOTR lore and an "inner turmoil" mechanic, providing a different perspective on Middle-Earth from one of its most conflicted characters.
