Marvel's Blade: Arkane Lyon Project Rumored Dead After Xbox Showcase Silence
TL;DR
After no Blade teaser at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, insider Jeff Grubb hinted the Marvel's Blade game at Arkane Lyon may be canceled. The title was announced in 2023, reportedly reached full production in late 2024, and was pitched as a mature, single‑player action game set in Paris in collaboration with Marvel Games. If true, its cancellation would mark another setback for Arkane amid Xbox strategy changes under new leadership following Arkane Austin’s closure two years ago.
