TL;DR

Microsoft has announced a new version of the Xbox Series S, which will include 1TB of storage rather than the original 512GB, due to heavy demand. The Carbon Black Xbox Series S will cost $50 more than the white version when it launches in a few months' time, bringing it up to £299 / $349. The team had received "really consistent feedback" over the desire for a Series S with more storage, as well as an alternative colour.
