Microsoft's Xbox Faces Challenges with Game Pass and Cloud Gaming

Xbox is not competing with Sony and Nintendo for console sales, but focusing on Game Pass and cloud gaming. However, Game Pass growth is slowing and there may not be a large market for it beyond Xbox. The draw of Game Pass is the games, but Xbox lacks exclusive megahits like PlayStation. Cloud gaming may be a useful addition to gaming setups, but it is not the core way people play games and there have been high-profile failures like Google Stadia. While Microsoft is no longer a major competitor in the console space, Game Pass and cloud gaming may not hold a glorious alternative future for them.
