"Mother Creator Urges Fans to Lobby Nintendo for Western Release of Mother 3"
TL;DR
Mother 3, the cult classic RPG game, was announced for release on Nintendo Switch Online in Japan, sparking disappointment among Western fans. Series creator Shigesato Itoi urged fans to direct their requests to Nintendo, while former Nintendo boss Reggie Fils-Aimé also clarified that the decision was not his. The game's lack of Western release has been attributed to challenges in translating its unique writing style and themes, but fans remain eager to experience the third installment of the beloved series.
