TL;DR

NBA 2K24 will introduce a paid Battle Pass, allowing players to pay $9.99 per season for additional rewards and benefits in MyCAREER and MyTEAM modes. While some may find this monetization strategy excessive, 2K Sports argues that it is a value add and that the existing free Battle Pass will remain unchanged. The success of this new feature will ultimately depend on the quality and value of the Premium rewards offered.
