"Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC Quests Surprise Players with Memorable Easter Eggs"
TL;DR
Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Indigo Disk DLC are loving a new quest that references a meme from an early episode of the Pokemon anime. The quest, called the gold BBQ, asks players to catch a certain Pokemon based on a round silhouette, reminiscent of a scene from the 1998 episode "The Ultimate Test." Fans suspect that Game Freak intentionally included this reference, as the DLC is known for its Easter eggs and self-referential moments. The silhouette represents the returning Psychic-type Solosis.
