The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be available for digital download on the Nintendo eShop in the US at 12:00AM ET on May 12th. The game is a 16GB download, so players are advised to start downloading early to avoid losing game time. Those with a non-OLED Switch should ensure they have enough storage space or a microSD card. Preloading is also necessary to play and win the "stare at your homescreen waiting for the game to unlock at midnight" prologue mini-game.
