Sea of Thieves unlocks player-made adventures with Custom Seas in Season 20

Season 20 introduces Custom Seas, a standalone Sea of Thieves lobby mode for up to 24 players across six crews, plus a full toolkit (Free Cam, crew/ship customization, creature spawns, fast travel, item spawning, and a new Command Menu) to design and host user-made modes like team deathmatch, boat races, or monster hunts. Gold can’t be earned in Custom Seas, but silver is used for in-lobby scoring and a configurable scoreboard. Players can visit legendary locations (Old Sailor Isle, Tribute Peak, Glorious Sea Dog Taverns, Damned Sea Dog Tavern) and access the map via a Quick Command Menu (Free Cam, Fly, Quick Sail, Quick Spawn). The update also adds three new achievements and a host of lobby presets to jump-start creativity.
