Xbox boss Phil Spencer has expressed his appreciation for the hard work that goes into making shows like Summer Game Fest, ahead of Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase. He congratulated the entire team for putting together a good showing of a lot of games, saying that the show is good for the industry and a great place for studios and publishers to highlight their games. Xbox's Aaron Greenberg also joined in on the congratulations, saying that Xbox will "take the baton pass" for its showcase on Sunday.
