Switch 2 Dominates Famitsu Charts in Final Pre-Price Rise Week, Yoshi Debuts Strongly

Famitsu’s latest Japanese sales data show Switch 2 leading the hardware chart with 247,880 units in the final week before its price increase. Other consoles posted modest figures (PS5 Digital Edition 6,049; Switch Lite 4,433; Switch OLED 2,375; Switch 2’s total still far ahead of PS5 Pro, PS5, and Xbox variants). On the software side, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream tops the chart with 64,899 copies; Yoshi and the Mysterious Book debuts at #2 for Switch 2 with 39,661 copies, followed by Pokemon Pokopia (22,821), Mario Kart World (13,699), and Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition (11,603), with several titles labeled as NEW.
