Witcher 3: Remastered arrives free for owners with Songs of the Past expansion teased

CD Projekt Red announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, a major overhaul with visual/performance upgrades, revamped combat, new finishers and animations, an adaptive camera, a reworked skill tree, transmogrification, immersive meditation, expanded photo mode and cross‑platform mod support. It’ll be a free upgrade for existing owners and lands Sept 29 on Switch 2 and Battle.net. The two base expansions, Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone, will also be free. Alongside, Songs of the Past was detailed, bringing a new Letten region and Geralt’s new chain weapon, with a 2027 release and ties to The Witcher 4’s 2028 plan.
