Xbox Update Adds Per-Game Quick Resume and More

Microsoft’s April 2026 Xbox update lets you disable Quick Resume for individual games to avoid issues with online or multiplayer titles, while also adding up to ten Home screen groups, customizable UI colors, and easier play history. PC enhancements include using a gamepad as a mouse and pinning up to three games to Jump Back In and Most Recent. The update also previews Auto SR, a DLSS competitor, on the Xbox Ally X handheld, and notes ongoing Xbox leadership work on other requested features.
