Guild Wars 3 Confirmed, as ArenaNet Pledges to Nurture GW1, GW2, and GW3

ArenaNet has confirmed Guild Wars 3 is in development and will run alongside Guild Wars 2 and Guild Wars Reforged, all sharing Tyria and designed as distinct experiences on different timelines. The studio commits to actively developing all three games rather than replacing them. GW3 is planned for a fall 2027 beta, with HOM 2.0, a modernization pass for older content, a new WvW Borderlands map, and a free-to-play open-world Orr map as part of post-GW3 plans; after GW3 ships, GW2 will resume annual major content updates, aiming to keep Tyria thriving for 15 years and beyond.
