Guild Wars Mistbound redefines CCGs with Tyria-inspired dynamic battles
Mistbound is an all-new Guild Wars digital CCG announced by ArenaNet, NCsoft and bilibili. The game blends Guild Wars’ MMO lore with a deck-building format, introducing a 5×3 battlefield where cards can move and be repositioned each turn (Dynamic Movement Gameplay). It will be officially licensed by ArenaNet, developed by NCsoft, and globally published by bilibili, with a China-first launch and a global release contingent on the Chinese market’s success. The project follows an earlier Steam test under the name Lion’s Arch Guild Wars Arena and targets both PvP and single-player content.
