Porsche Revives Apple Legacy with Retro Livery at Laguna Seca

Porsche Penske Motorsport will race two Porsche 963s at Laguna Seca on May 3 in a vintage Apple Computer-inspired livery, honoring Apple’s 50th and Porsche Motorsport’s 75th anniversaries and tracing back to the 1980 Le Mans-era 935 K3. The No. 6 car driven by Estre/Vanthoor and the No. 7 car driven by Andlauer/Nasr will contend in the GTP class, with JDC-Miller MotorSports’ Laurin Heinrich/Tijmen van der Helm in the No. 5 also running a Porsche 963, while AO Racing and Wright Motorsports field additional Porsches in GTD Pro and GTD. The event is a 2-hour 40-minute race at Laguna Seca.)
