The best budget CPUs are the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 and Ryzen 7 5700X, and the best high-end desktop CPU is the AMD Threadripper 7970X. The Intel i3-12100F is named the best CPU under $100, while the entire Intel 14th Gen series is labeled as the biggest disappointment.
