AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D: High Demand, Record Overclocks, and Limited Availability
TL;DR
The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, touted as the best gaming CPU currently available, offers significant performance improvements over its predecessors and Intel's latest offerings. It is now available for pre-order in the UK and US, with prices starting around £449 and $479, respectively, though stock is limited due to high demand. The CPU is compatible with AMD's X670E, X670, B650E, and B650 motherboards, and requires DDR5 memory. Most modern CPU coolers support the AM5 socket needed for this processor.
