TL;DR

AMD will exclusively sell the Ryzen 5 5600X3D gaming processor through Micro Center, starting on July 7. Priced at $229.99, the chip features 6 cores and 12 threads, lower than the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but still offers 96MB of L3 cache and impressive clock speeds. This move is good news for owners of AM4 motherboards, as AMD continues to support the platform. However, Micro Center's limited locations and lack of online sales may limit availability for customers outside of the 17 states where the retailer operates.
