TL;DR

Android 14 Beta 1 introduces a new setting that allows users to block apps from using full-screen notifications. The "full screen intents" permission can be managed in the "Special App Access" settings, giving users the ability to grant or deny apps the ability to display notification content in a full-screen view. This provides users with additional control over their experience and the ability to prevent apps from potentially abusing this functionality.
