Google enhances Find My Device with Chipolo trackers for improved security.

Google is introducing new security enhancements for Android devices, including improvements to the Find My Device network that will allow users to locate lost items even when they are offline. The network will also support locator tags such as Tile and Pebblebee. Additionally, Google will launch an "unwanted tracker alert" later this summer, which will notify users if an unknown tracker is detected on their phone and allow them to play a sound on the tracker to locate it. The company is also working with Apple to create specifications for companies creating trackers to adhere to for better practices.
