Google's Search Improvements Challenged by Reddit Blackouts
TL;DR
Google is addressing user discontent with its search engine results by rolling out a new feature called "Perspectives," which incorporates content from platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and Quora to provide more comprehensive answers. The move comes in response to user complaints about the limitations of Google Search, particularly during the recent Reddit blackouts. While Perspectives is a step in the right direction, some argue that Google should focus on improving traditional search results to meet user needs.
