Intel's 14th Gen Raptor Lake-HX CPUs: More Cores, Threads & Cache for Laptops

Intel's upcoming 14th Gen Raptor Lake-HX CPUs for enthusiast-grade laptops are rumored to feature an 8+16 core die, offering more cores, threads, and cache compared to the previous generation. The Core i7-14650HX will have an 8+8 configuration, a 20% increase in thread count over its predecessor, while the Core i7-13850HX and i7-13700HX series will benefit from the 8+12 die. The Core i5-14500HX will have a similar configuration to the Core i7-13650HX but with a higher L2 cache. The new CPUs are expected to launch later this year.
