iPhone 16 Pro Display Production Begins, Pro Max Faces Delays

Samsung and LG have received approval to start mass production of OLED panels for the iPhone 16 Pro, with Samsung handling all iPhone 16 models and LG focusing on the Pro versions. BOE will develop LTPS displays for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. Approval for the iPhone 16 Pro Max OLED is still pending, as Apple evaluates new 'Border Reduction Structure' technology for slimmer bezels. Samsung is expected to pass the approval process by the end of the month, while LG will follow in the middle of next month.
