TL;DR

Microsoft has halted the June 2026 KB5101650 Windows 11 security update on certain Dell devices after the June 23 preview update (KB5095093) caused a conflict between the Windows USB-C Connection Manager and the Intel IPF Processor Participant driver, leading to unexpected shutdowns, reduced performance, extra heat, and battery drain. Dell flagged the incompatibility during testing; Microsoft will stop pushing KB5101650 to affected systems and plans a fix in the coming days.
