Samsung reportedly leaked its own secrets, including sensitive in-development semiconductor information, at least three times through ChatGPT, an AI chatbot developed by OpenAI. The incidents occurred after Samsung lifted a ban on employees using the chatbot to enhance productivity. Samsung has applied "emergency measures" to limit upload capacity and warned employees against leaking proprietary information. The incident has reportedly shaken domestic tech companies, including SK hynix and LG Display, which are now working on guidelines for the use of AI chatbots.
