WhatsApp introduces chat lock feature for enhanced privacy.
TL;DR
WhatsApp is introducing a new feature called "Chat Lock" that allows users to keep their conversations more private by locking them in a password- or biometrics-protected folder. Notifications from these chats won't display the sender or message content. This adds an extra layer of protection for those who regularly share their unlocked phone with others. The feature is rolling out now, with additional upgrades to come in the future.
