Hawaii Flights Grounded by Wi-Fi Outage Across Airlines

WiFi on flights to Hawaii remains unreliable, with Alaska Airlines failing to deliver on its promise of $8 WiFi, American Airlines charging high prices, Delta's new A321neo fleet lacking WiFi, and Hawaiian Airlines still pending the launch of its Starlink satellite WiFi, which is now expected to be available in 2024. Southwest and United Airlines offer $8 WiFi, but it is also inconsistent. Hawaiian Airlines has indicated that its WiFi will be free for passengers in all cabins, but there is no plan to bring WiFi to its interisland fleet.
